What lurks in the darkness and buzzes in the shadows of the night?

On October 1, 2025, the Lithuanian Education Museum invites you to the opening of the live international exhibition “DŪZZZGĖS.”

At the exhibition, you will see:
– The Peruvian black widow spider – the true ruler of the night from the tropical jungles,
– The Brazilian black tarantula – the most impressive spider, inspiring both respect and fear,
– The Chilean rose tarantula – the gentlest beauty in the world of spiders,
and many more!

You will meet representatives of the public institution Egzoticsos, an exotic animal shelter, who have prepared an interesting presentation and unusual stories from the lives of their pets.
The live exhibition is complemented by impressive macro photographs of beetles – the work of international photographer Stano Scepan (Bratislava, Slovakia), created during a macro photography journey that lasted three years.

The youngest participants will enjoy decorating their faces with insect motifs, the bravest will be able to taste dried crickets, and all visitors will have the opportunity to contribute to the activities of the exotic animal shelter.

The exhibition will be open from October 1, 2025, to January 3, 2026, at the Lithuanian Education Museum (Vytauto pr. 52, Kaunas).
Come and discover the mysterious living world!

The event will be photographed and/or filmed. Photos and videos may be used to promote the event on social media, websites, in the press, and other promotional channels.
