VRSciT project

2025 May 28

The Lithuanian Museum of the History of Education, together with partners from Italy, Portugal, Spain and Lithuania, is launching the international project “VR Science Trip” (VRSciT).

We hope that the virtual reality products created during the project will broaden the experience of the museum visitors and allow them to get acquainted with the cultural, social and natural objects of our region and the partner countries in an attractive form.

Objective:

To use virtual reality technologies to remove barriers to visualising different environments and dimensions and to create educational value for digital products.

Objectives:
The project hopes that this project will enable the target groups not only to acquire and consolidate their adult education skills, but also to improve their competences in the fields of European citizenship, interculturality, employment and community development. The project brings to the fore lifelong learning and adult digital literacy. During the project period, expert discussions and sharing of scientific and technological knowledge will take place in order to create a meaningful product.

Target groups:
Adults;
Older students;
Educators working in the field of adult education;
Educational policy makers;
General public.

Main project outcomes:
Literature review: possibilities for the application of VR in educational and cultural institutions, their impact on the user;
