Educational activity “Sand fantasies”│Šančiai beach

The Lithuanian Museum of Education joined the “Let’s Celebrate the River” initiative with activities. The aim is to experience rivers through cultural routes in the water and on the shores, to make contacts, to share a community, to remember or discover new river bends.

This year, the Museum team will welcome both river cruisers and walkers and invite them to take part in an educational activity for young and old called “Sand fantasies”.

During the activity:

We will create river images directly in the sand!
We will create patterns, shapes and landscapes in sandboxes!
We will fill glass bottles with coloured sand – each one will become a unique memory of the festival!

This activity combines creativity, natural beauty and personal stories. We invite everyone – big and small – to discover how much simple sand can do!

Look out for the orange representative flag of the Lithuanian Museum of Education when you arrive.
