Exhibition “Education in Japan” │ OPENING

The Lithuanian Education Museum invites you to the opening event of the international exhibition “Education in Japan” on March 18, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.
The exhibition “Education in Japan” invites you to take a look at the multi-layered history of education in Japan – from the early teaching centers in temples and the Terakoya and Hankō schools that emerged during the Edo period to the significant reforms of the Meiji period and the “6-3-3-4” education model in use today. This is the first opportunity in Lithuania to learn about Japanese education – one of the most important foundations of this country’s modernization, growth, and progress.

The opening event is free of charge.
