Fantastic Insects Workshop with Illustrator Justina Česnauskaitė
2025 November 22 - 2025 November 22
14:00 - 15:00
Have you ever found yourself surrounded by buzzing, rustling, crackling, and whispering sounds – as if nature itself had opened the door to its vibrant world? On the afternoon of November 8, the Lithuanian Museum of Education invites families to dive into the magical world of the living exhibition BUZZZZ, where young visitors and their parents will become true explorers and creators of nature.
The afternoon will begin with a short but discovery-filled tour of the exhibition, home to lively, colorful animals that produce surprising sounds. Children will learn why some insects “sing” with their wings, what hides beneath a moss leaf, and what secrets can be heard when you truly listen to the silence.
Next, a fun game awaits – a chance to test how attentively you listened, how much you noticed, and, of course, to celebrate your discoveries together with other participants.
At the end of the afternoon, everyone will be invited to join a creative workshop – “My Animal in a Terrarium.” Using recycled materials, children and their parents will create small, symbolic animal worlds. Perhaps it will be a quietly sleepy snail or a curious ladybug ready to spread its wings?
This afternoon is not only an opportunity to discover the richness of nature but also an invitation to slow down, to listen to how our environment “speaks,” and to feel how every tiny creature hums and lives around us.
We invite you to the Lithuanian Museum of Education on November 8 at 2 p.m. – to spend time together, draw inspiration, enjoy creativity, and feel the true buzz of nature in your heart! 💚
Participation: with a regular museum admission ticket.
